Yes is does. When you start your phone up, while your boot logo is displaying, look at your status light area. It will turn blue. When it does, press the volume down button. After you have done that, select CPU and there you can either overclock or underclock your phone.
Would you mind helping me out with what I should change while I'm In there because I tried changing the scaling frequency (I believe that's what it was) earlier and the boot menu froze on me. So I did a battery pull and the settings went back to default.

First, are you trying to overclock or underclock your phone? Because I had the same problem too several times. Come to find out, if your vsel for each scale isnt at the right level, the boot menu will lock up. For example, I overclocked my DX to 1.3GHz but the vsel was somewhere around 51 on the 4th socket. It caused my boot menu to lock up until I tweaked it to 66 then it was stable. Just keep in my that the higher you increase you CPU speed you must slightly increase the vsel for each socket. The same goes for underclocking as well. The only thing is, you must not drop the vsel too low or your phone will start to lag and may lock up from time to time. Start by increasing or decreasing the vsel by one or two and see how well your phone is stable. Give it shot and let me know how it turns out.

I just installed this rom and it's performing flawlessly as of right now. I'll come back after a few days and it's settled in. Great job on making this a great rom and bringing new life back into my droid x. i was on beans' galnet, but decided to get with the times and use this. One thing I did notice is the themes aren't fully being applied. I like dark themes because the gray and lightness are too bright for my eyes. When I go to the dialpad, contacts, or any other function of the phone that should be black, they aren't. Any ideas to this? Ps reboots don't help.

Has the issue been addressed where when you "call ______" via Google search or Google voice it adds the international "+" every time?
Just wondering, last 2 builds have had this issue for me (6/8 6/15)

2 more things. Anybody know how to alphabetize the apps in the folders? It's a pain having to scroll slowly to locate the app. Also, I know all droid x's are different, but what are some recommended overclocking settings/frequencies to speed up the phone? Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to change some of the system sounds, like the camera shutter or the sound when you click?

Has anyone found a theme that will actually change the background image in Settings for our rom? I can get everything else to change but not the background for Settings.

I believe you can do that with a theme and apply the properly named sounds that way. Other than that I dont think there is a way

I've checked the Theme options and they have the same options as Settings. We can only change the ringtone, notification, and SMS received/delivered sounds. I didn't have time earlier to do this, but I just went through Root Explorer and found the system sounds, but I can't change them. I'm not too familiar with Root Explorer or permissions, but I just get an error saying I can't move the new camera_click.ogg to the UI folder to replace the stock camera_click.ogg

It was doing that to me on this build as well until I downloaded the newer release. If there is a problem on a build you won't find out about it here. Seems like Beans doesn't care about this site but he actually gets on the Rootzwiki op for this rom. Installer problem with first build. No problem for me with this build.

It isn't so much that Beans doesn't care about this site as this site doesn't get as much traffic from everybody else. Most of the bug reports, for anybody's build, come from the community instead of the dev. In reality, we put out roms that we think are "good enough to be released". It is a tight rope to walk for devs. You can either release something that is too buggy or something that takes a LOT longer but is solid. So most of the builds are functional in the core with additions that may be buggy, but are getting better each release (in general, there are always exceptions).

I was just saying that he doesnt even post that he changes anything if there was a problem in the build. He posts it in the changelogs over at Rootzwiki. I was just saying it would be nice if he did the same here since its an official MIUI.us build. After all, Im not trying to whine, just explaining because there are probably people that dont know where to look for that stuff. Its his OP over at Rootzwiki but its not an official Rootzwiki.us build right? I know where to look for solutions but some people may not. I am just glad that he does take the time to work on a build for the Droid X at all. I will never complain about what he does for us. It would be nice if he posted changes mid-week here for problems and solutions though.

Ok, I wasn't trying to be an ass either. I am sorry if I came across that way. :-)

You are completely correct that Beans is more active there than here. I guess I just meant that the community is more active there and that's probably the reason.

I didn't realize his change logs were different between the sites. I do know you are limited in the character count per post here. I've had to cut my own posts shorter here because of that. No idea if that's Beans reason or not though.

I know you werent trying to. I would hate to be a dev for that reason. Everyone expects the world of you for free. lol. I wish the community was more active here. That would be great.

    wifi tether

Who knows who remembers me but I'm still wondering when wifi tether will start to work, I know there is an app that is supposed to work but it is a whole lot slower. I just don't know if someone has already tried to fix that but hasn't yet

What app do you use? I use "WiFi Tether" and it works pretty well for me. Then again, I only use it for my girlfriend since she has a 22MB data plan. Not sure if that's the one that is slow for you...

I'm losing service very frequently with this build. It was happening previously, but even worse now. I keep getting "Authentication Unsuccessful" in the status bar. Is this happening to anyone else?

works great for me too and I use it all the time when I'm traveling for work. probably run 1gb through it a month. no issues at all. it also has plenty of options and customization.
