Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
Is anyone having issues with the Play Store downloading/updating apps? I'm getting the 921 error again. I've done the usual fixes, rebooting, clearing app cache, using WiFi, etc, but still getting it.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
I got the modded .621 stock to load into slot 1. Trying to get VorteX Reloaded .621 up on it now. This one has been giving me issues, though. Actually, the modded .621 is the ONLY ROM that hasn't given me problems. Everything else seems to load SU and apps that need SU permissions work but stuff like ROM toolbox won't and when I run Root Checker on a slot ROM, it says it isn't rooted.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
So I actually just got VorteX Reloaded .621 to boot into slot 1 with MIUI v4 2.6.8 as my phone ROM. Haven't set anything up but this is the first time I've got it to boot and I've been trying for a while! I DID notice through some random button pressing (Manage Slot) and then hitting "Resize Img" I found that often something wouldn't load entirely and it would tell me "System Size - 270MB" but only "16 MB Used." Didn't do anything differently here except just re-install the .zip (with system/data/cache wipe) without deleting the slot first. Just re-installed over whatever that "16MB" was.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
So... I'm loving this ROM. The torch shortcut is awesome. I find that the Droid X has some new life breathed into it and I'm less interested in getting a new phone. The one thing that I did was install Swype beta. It was something that was built into the stock ROM and I got used to it.
Has anyone had issues activating the mobile hotspot? Wireless is working fine... but when I try to flip on the hotspot it just hangs and I need to reboot my phone. I've also tried downloading FoxFi and that isn't working either...
Thoughts?

If that doesn't work clear data on Google Services Framework under apps and reboot always works for me.

I managed to get wifi tether to work by downloading the app from this website:
http://code.google.com/p/android-wif...downloads/list
Download the app version 2.0.7. It should work just fine. Let me know if it worked successfully.

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
I have noticed that when im exiting an app or going from settings from to the screen that the launcher takes about a sec to display. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem and if so is there a fix to correct the problem? Possibly fixing a build through ROM toolbox? Any suggestions?

Re: (Official)(4.04) (MIUI.us V4 2.6.8 06/08/2012) BootMenu/Camcorder/Beats Audio
Also I want to decrease my phones dpi (screen density) but every time i would change it from 240 to 220 the miui launcher would FC. I tried using a different launcher (Apex Launcher 1.2) and it worked for a little bit but then it too starting FCing. So in the end I would have to wipe my phone and re-install the ROM again. Does anyone know if it is even possible to reduce dpi on this particular version of ROM?

Re: so..
Yes is does. When you start your phone up, while your boot logo is displaying, look at your status light area. It will turn blue. When it does, press the volume down button. After you have done that, select CPU and there you can either overclock or underclock your phone.
