Ahh...So close after so many hours of work...Got it rooted, unlocked, etc...Get 2.4.20 in the SD card and the Aroma installer 2.0 caused me to hit a brick wall...Right at the Select Language screen you can click anywhere to proceed. I tried all over the screen, all buttons, etc. No luck...

Is there any advice on this?

Download joker's 0.4.5 cm9, flash it, let it boot into phone, then reboot into recovery and flash this rom. New installer is SWEET! Only install the options you want, not the options I wanted to build in

Hello All...My bad...I did not know the camera button on the photon allows me to select options in the Aroma installer...Outstanding!! I have to say that this ROM is outstanding! I have a new phone and it flies...No lag at all...Even overclocked at 1.3 my battery life is better than stock. Love it. I am only having an issue with one or 2 apps that will not install in the market indicating "Your device is not supported". I exhausted all the fixes online such as LCD density, market mods, build.prop mods, etc. They still will not download. I emailed the developer of "It's about Time" since I REALLY need that app....I am hoping to get the APK for it but I am not holding my breath.

Anyway, THANK YOU! Very well done.

Your very welcome! This build will be getting better with more time, as the menus will be a little more concise, and I will be fixing the fact that with a default chosen, you stil end up having to go through all he choice screens...LOL. I'm still learning the installer, so it's a process. For the installer, you need to NOT wipe first. Wiping or doing a factory reset will knock out the lib files that arona uses to power the touch.
As far as the dev on the apps, you never know....they may come back with something helpful

I am not sure what protocol is for reporting issues so please let me know if I should be reporting things in other areas but a couple issues I noticed:
- I have a motorola car dock for my photon. It no longer directs audio through the USB port to the AUX port. I need a separate cable. This appears to be an issue with all ICS builds...Just pointing it out.

- "Play Movies" FC's.

Super Minor issues...

Every time I pick up this phone I am amazed...Everything is simply outstanding! It boots up in a fraction of the time under GB.

Unfortunately, right now, some phones have released the proper ICS libs for their phones...Moto has not done so for our loved Photon, so we are without those. At best, we are able to GUESS what libs from a device that does have both our processor AND is made by Moto (the Xoom tablet) uses, but it's still much a crap-shoot on that. Jokersax and I are working on the lib issue (as well as a very interesting Rom over at XDA).
I'm currently in the process of porting this into the latest CM9 drop that was released last last night by Joker. Once I have ported 2.4.20 into that, I will be able to make a very quick job of porting 2.4.27 whenever it releases.
This time will have TWO versions released.
One will be on the downloads here, and will be based on the regular method of flashing...and will require flashing gapps.
The other will be the Aroma installer (what 2.4.20 currently is) and will be available via link over at XDA. I will place a link to the thread where the aroma installer version will be, as it will have much more in it than what is released officially in 2.4.27 here. Rest assured, it will only be a link away
I have read that MIUI.us is not wanting to use Aroma in the official builds, so rather than cause issues, I will go to the standard flash for download here.
I encourage all of you to come to XDA and check it out. I have the app on my phone and check the threads CONSTANTLY...so advice and answers can be MUCH faster there. I usually only check MIUI.us once or twice a day.

I am glad that you like the Rom...Spleef and I put a LOT of work into it, and are constantly looking at ways to improve it. Right now, I am trying to get TabletUI to work with the phone, though it looks weird due to the lack of rotation in MIUIhome, and has no service....hmmm. Hopefully, I can get that all worked out, and that will be another option in a release or two

Nice!!...I just downloaded and applied it...So sweet and fast...Thanks for your efforts!!! I pulled down the Aroma version.

Regular camera works well but video camera still has what appears to be an acceleration issue. This issue has been there for the last few revisions of this mod. It records about 5 seconds behind...Kinda odd.

Thank you! It took me awhile to flash with 1.4 kernel. It kept bootlooping but I played with the custom settings and underclocked it to 1.2 and it is working just fine! My phone doesn't take 1.4 too kindly.

I have a new version out now on Jokersax.com that is based on cm9 version 0.6.1 Just released it today. I am doing the builds of this now, as Spleef has started building some other roms.
