Strange. I didn't even realize that option was gone. I ported the official release from a different device, that could be the issue, or possibly a bug passed down from the MIUI developers. I'll see what I can do to get that option back.

Alright thanks, I'm probably just going to stay on your unofficial for now.

    testing now...

    after 5 min...

-signal bars are all over the place
-downloading apps gives "file to big"
-MMS ONLY sends after using proxy through SETDNS
-some lag on launcher. Will try supercharger and see if that helps

"file too big" is caused from the download app. open it, hit menu, change settings. also going into the market setting you can change the MB max DL

    Love this port!
Anyone having any issues with the Camera FC?
I've set the CPU and other settings to 'stock' with no difference.

Yeah, camera is a little buggy. I'll be working to fix that soon.

Re: Official Bug Thread for MIUI ICS

I originally posted this out in the Fascinate forums, but given the number of views without responses, I am starting to think this might actually be a bug, not something I goofed on my own. Any help would be appreciated.

    Logcat: http://logcat.miui.us/890003

**EDIT**Forgot...I have one other small issue: I occasionally get an error message stating "Unfortunately, Updater has stopped working" with two buttons, "Report to MIUI" and "OK." If I choose Report, the report is generated and I receive a message saying the report has been sent successfully. If I hit OK, the message simply goes away. Manually attempting to launch the updater causes the same error message.

**EDIT 2**I chose a particularly long ringtone (31 seconds) and connected my bluetooth while the ringtone was playing through the handset speaker. The bluetooth connected normally, and the ringtone began to stream through my bluetooth while STILL playing through the handset speaker. Once the ringtone finishes, or if any other tone is selected, however, I am back to the same problem detailed below.

I have installed MIUI on to my Fascinate coming from AOKP with no prior bluetooth issues. Prior to AOKP she was stock Gingerbread. I have had these same issues on two seperate Fascinates (mine and my wife's - wife's ROM history is Stock Froyo, Evil Fascination, MIUI). I have also tried 3 seperate bluetooth headsets (Plantronics BackBeat 903+, Plantronics Voyager Pro HD and BlueAnt Q2). No matter the combination, the issues remain the same. The logcat is generated using my Fascinate and the Plantronics Voyager Pro HD.

With no bluetooth connected, OR bluetooth connected but Media Audio disabled, everything works fine. The issues occur when Media Audio is enabled. Once MA is enabled, I am unable to hear any notification sounds (incoming SMS, keytap, etc.) from my Fascinate, either from the handset or through the bluetooth. Incoming calls ring normally and I am able to have phone conversations through the bluetooth with no issues. If I go into Sound settings and attempt to listen to ANY sounds, notification or ringtone, local or online, I immediately get a small black box near the bottom of the screen which reads "unable to connect to network". Music player will play audio through the bluetooth headset, however if the phone attempts to play a notification sound, the music player will APPEAR to play, but no sound is heard from either the handset or the bluetooth. Once Media Audio is disabled or the bluetooth is turned off, notification sounds resume though the handset immediately. Sounds/ringtones begin playing normally within the Sound Settings menu. The music player will still only appear to play, but will resume playing sound through the handset once a new track is selected.

For the moment, I am reverting to AOKP. Please be aware, however, that I am more than willing to flash back to MIUI for any additional needed info, or for attempted fixes.

I humbly await the application of your supreme intellect to my paltry issues and the glorious day I can enjoy MIUI on a daily basis. [/su]

Re: Official Bug Thread for MIUI ICS

After flashing Miui 2.9.7 after returning back to stock and rooting, I noticed the following issues, other than the bugs already noted (Torch not working, data signal bars not working, etc):

    (1) Native Miui MMS force closes. To fix this I removed the MMS.apk from the Miui 2.9.21 package and switched it into the 2.9.7.

    (2) Some keyboards do not work on Miui. Swiftkey 3, for example, worked for a short period of time and then simply refused to open. Uninstalling and re-installing did not work, and neither did fix permissions; oddly enough, Swiftkey 3 Free works with no issues. If anyone has had the same issue and knows how to fix, please let me know. I can't find another keyboard that even compares.

Re: Official Bug Thread for MIUI ICS

I just rooted my Verizon Samsung Fascinate and I like the look and feel of the MIUI. However, other than the aforementioned issues (Torch doesn't work, Signal bars aren't accurate) I am also having a problem with the Data not moving at 3G speeds. The fastest download speed I have received was 185 KB/s. The speed should be closer to at least 1.5 MB/s according to my research. Any ideas or patches I can apply?

Please forgive me if this issue has already been mentioned somewhere, I did not find it.
