This is a community support ROM only!

The developers do not provide much support for this ROM on these forums.
Support is mostly provided on forums.miui.us.

New releases are released each Friday.


Gapps are NOT included in this ROM. You can flash the CM10 Jelly Bean gapps. I will include it in future releases.

A DATA WIPE IS REQUIRED BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM SINCE IT HAS BEEN UPDATED TO JELLY BEAN.

Installation Instructions

You must flash jt1134's CM10 found on Rootzwiki and allow it to fully boot, then follow the instructions below:

• Place ROM zip file in your SD card
• Boot into recovery
• Create a backup
• Factory reset device
• Wipe Cache & Dalvik
• Install zip from SD card
• Reboot and enjoy!

• Removed Updater app due to force closes
• Fixed Permissions Manager so that Superuser permissions can be managed through Permissions Manager instead of Superuser.apk

• Implemented tweaks to improve performance and battery life

Guys, please revert back to 2.4.6. There is a bug with SMS. I am working on finding a fix and will have a new build uploaded as soon as I can.

Just updated to 2.4.27, and I'm having some trouble connecting to wifi networks that used to work perfectly in 2.4.6. I keep on getting stuck at "Obtaining IP address...". Any suggestions?

EDIT: Nevermind, this issue seems to have resolved itself after a few more attempts at connecting. Strange that it wasn't working immediately, though.

I updated to 2.5.4 today and noticed I don't have media audio playback over Bluetooth. I have unpaired and repaired my LG HBS700 a few times now the head set buttons work just no media audio. Can anyone else confirm?

Guys. I loaded up the .zip file, went through the standard install protocol, and now my phone gets to the brown miui bootloader screen, and even though the light flashes through the logo, it just stays there.... What is happening now????? O.o

First of all, I am a complete N0ob to this phone ROM flashing thing. (Lot's of computer experience) I searched the Fascinate thread and didn't find the answers I am looking for. The thread lists the installation instructions and they seem pretty straight forward. I am flashing on a stock Verizon Fascinate, running stock GB, that I have already rooted. This is pretty much the only change I have made. Is there prep work that needs to be done? I see multiple references to having to wipe the data and davlick and don't see that mentioned here. Is that part of the "tool box" that is included? Are there other programs that I have to have either on my computer or on the phone. Do I have to upgrade to ICS first or is that also included. If there is more to it than I am seeing, is there a spot in the forum that gives a more complete set of directions for the idiot faction such as myself? Thanks for all of the hard work that you have done here and for any answers that you can supply.

You'll want to make sure you have CWM recovery on your device as that is what you'll use to flash the ROM. If you're unsure if you have it on your device, I'd recommend search the fascinate forum on xda-developers.com for instructions on flashing CWM recovery. Once that's installed, you'll want to flash teamhacksung's ICS build 2 and allow it to fully boot before flashing MIUI. You can find teamhacksung's build 2 in the Fascinate forums at rootzwiki.com.

Drives my wild to see no service! This is what i did.

I edited my theme.mtz and replaced all the signal pictures with full service pictures using 7zip (can also use this windows app - http://www.miuithe.me/ )

*Files are in com.android.systemui > res > drawable-hdpi

*I was unsure which of the three files are displayed so i unzipped all three;

hi im having a problem going from you hackungs build 2 ics to the latest facinate miui port. im currently on build 2 and when i try to flash to miui it doesent work and i tried to add google 7.1 add on and wiped data agian too and tried to flash and that would not work eaither. when i try sideloading google play it force closes. could you point me in the right direction of what to do? thanks
