Experience Extremely Laggy....?

I really don't know how long this has been happening but it seems like its been happening for quite a while. My experience (always running the latest stable build) have been extremely laggy. It seems like everything is just so dang slow. Even when i get a call sometimes i will miss the call because of lag in the "Slide to answer" functionality. Do i remember how my stock experience was? No but i don't remember it being this bad. I have been rooted for quite awhile and using MIUI the whole time. I know MIUI is supposed to be one of lighter weight ROMS. Is this something that i'm doing wrong here or has everyone had the same experience lately? Currently running 2.2.10. Is the hardware of the incredible getting to the point that it can't run the newer builds fast enough where this is happening to everyone?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been experiencing the same thing. 2.3.2 ran really smooth for a week or so but over the weekend the lag took over. Every app I tried to open would take 2 or 3 minutes to open up and then it took a minute or so to do anything followed by a crash. I ended up doing a complete wipe instead of installing over the previous ROM. It seems to be working pretty smoothly.

Check under battery and see what's running so high. I checked and is Android OS using 83% of battery. I can confirm this that this is happening to me aswell and that some app is triggering it.

did you guys restore apps and data with titanium?

V6 Supercharger and the Ext4 mod fixed the lag issue for me, now its screaming fast.

It's all that stuff really necessary? I've been thinking about installing ext4, but my phone runs fast and smooth already. Not sure if it would make a difference.
