Hey guys, I rooted my NC using the instructions on NookDevs several months ago. I recently started using MIUI on my Fascinate and loved it so much that I had to have it on my NC. I put the ROM on my NC uSD, flashed CWM thru ROM Manager, then rebooted into CWM. From there, I assumed the steps would be the same as w my phone, so I wiped data/cache/Dalvik then TRIED to reboot into recovery so I could install the ROM. I never got back to CWM, it just goes straight into the "Log into Google" process.
My problem is that I can't sign in to Google. It just keeps telling me that a connection w the Google servers couldn't be established. I'm connected to wifi and able to get on the internet w the NC browser. On top of all that, when I press the "N" button at the bottom, nothing happens. It's like I have no home screen at all. I've tried turning the NC on and off, disconnecting and reconnecting fm and to my wifi network, and forgetting the network altogether. Can anyone help me out?

Just make a new cwm SD card redo the process. Don't reboot after you wipe. Wipe then install Rom. You flashed cwm then wiped it, when you rebooted it it probably put system files on the SD card so you can't reboot into cwm without making a new card.

Thanks for the info! Will I need to format my uSD card?, b/c I just flashed CWM fm ROM Manager. I'm just trying to avoid having to flash back to stock, then re-root my NC just so I can dl ROM Manager fm the Market again.

I just installed 1.9.16 over my cm7 nightly - wiped data/cache and the install seems to have gone well. I enabled root access and everything looks good except for the fact that I can't download anything from the market. Every time I try to download it tells me the download failed due to an error - it doesn't specify what error. I want to download titanium backup pro to restore all my apps. Obviously not being to download anything from the market is pretty much a show stopper.
I've deleted the data from market but that hasn't changed anything. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong and how to get this working? Thanks.

You can see the changelog here: http://miuiandroid.com/2011/11/miui-1-11-4-changelog/
The changes don't seem to really apply that much to the NC infrastructure as much as other phones.

The only current fix I have found for the app market is to go in through settings and remove the most recent market update. You will then get one shot at downloading apps, but as soon as you exit the market, it updates, and you'll have to delete the updates again.
I have found no way on 1.11.4 to get anything more than 1 gig out of the internal memory.
