Lockscreen Problem

I am facing a weird issue with MIUI US build 2.2.24
I applied a lockscreen which was in old format and named as LG..something.
MIUI asked me to convert it in new format.
After converting it in new format, it got successfully applied.
But then after locking device, I am not able to unlock the device
I tried many possibilities and it did not work.

Does anyone know how to flash theme from recovery or way around it to work this out ?
( I tried below things
1. Tried updating the ROM with same package via recovery
2. Tried clearing cache,dalvik
3. Tried renaming the lockscreen file by mounting SD Card
)

Any suggestions or solutions are highly welcome

Holding down the backkey and then volume up unlocks on miui for the DX. Try that

This happened to me today due to the lockscreen downloaded being to small for the screen. I was then unable to unlock the handset due to the lockscreen displacement.

Problem solved due to this advise. . Hold the back button and the up volume on the handset to jump to the homescreen with our the need for touch.
