kernels that don't cause loss of 3G

I've been trying out different kernels and it seems everyone i've tried (albeit it's only 3) except for one causes me to lose 3G. I tried tiamat 1.1.15 and aeroevan 0.7 bfs and cfs. The aeroevan 0.7 bfs does work, but the other two don't allow 3G to work. And yes, I did try fresh installs of the ROM with each. Are there any other kernels that are known to work with MIUI that might be better than aeroevan 0.7 bfs or is that one good enough to use? Also, is it better than the stock kernel for performance and/or battery life?

In case it matters, i'm using MIUI 1.11.4.

I used tiamat until china changed something in the rom so any cfs kernel will break 3g.. after that i used aerovans bfs.. in my opinion a custom kernel makes the phone a bit louder and better battery..
But anyone in here can tell you a different story..

It was and I thank you. I'll just stick with the aeroevan bfs kernel for now and not worry about testing other ones.
