[ROM] MIUI.us v4 JB 4.1

I had some issues with GPS that won't work until reboot on 2.8.10. I put an old stable version of GB and I have some questions for you :

Is it just me or all these MIUI ICS Roms are lagging in compare to MIUI GB Roms ?
Is this just a question of optimization or is it something else ? Menus and touch actions are very slow on ICS and very fast on GB.
Maybe JB Roms will be better ?

You may need to wipe system, cache, and Dalvik cache as well, and reflash. Did you check the MD5 checksum? It is JB.

2.8.17 is JB. Sorry, been scrambling to get the ROM up and was busy throughout the day and I forgot to post here. There are some minor graphical issues here and there, but all in all it runs very smoothly and seems to actually have more free RAM at any given point. There's two Gallery apps because CM10 has Gallery and Camera built into the same apk, and I needed to use CM's camera. So the result is an extra gallery app for now. Bluetooth is not working as it isn't in CM10.

Other than that it should be good to go. Please let me know of any issues with a logcat, and include a screenshot if possible. Thanks and enjoy

JB MIUI seems to be running pretty smooth. I have an issue with the automatic backlight, it isn't working. Using manual backlight works.
I didn't do a fullwipe, is this nessecary?

[edit] Did fullwipe, autobacklight works normally.

I believe I've found a bug. Root apps crash when asking for root if root permission is set to ask. If it's set to allow it works fine.

Just tried this 2.8.17 (jb 4.1.1) and it seems smoothier than previous ICS roms. Good

But I don't know if it is the same problem as Commander-Todd but Live Copilot Live started and crashed just after install.

EDIT: No It seems to have an update for Copilot Live JB, sorry

EDIT2: When you select reboot, recovery. It reboots normally, not in recovery.

Are there any suggestions on which file format to use on the SD card? I have an 32GB sd card and it gives me some trouble (unexpectedly unmount etc). It is formatted as FAT. Would exFAT be better?

• The camera does not work. No video, photo,

For #3, use an alternate launcher. I'm using Nova.

what's bad on #3 App drawer?
#2 Battery drain - the same by me Battery consuption in 2.8.10 was the best.

Our DHD is MIUI and yes, all you named is working perfectly

Just installed 2.8.17, seems fine except video recording does not work, causes FC.
Will do full wipe and try again later!

Edit: did full wipe, no change. Reverting back to 2.8.10
