I went back to 2.6.29 ... The new 2.7.6 has problems with root permissions and settings. I hope for a new fixed version, but now i keep using the good 2.6.29. Thanks.

I have problems with Root Permissions.
Permission Manager seems to work fine, but the applications don't really get root access.
The LOGS shows that Root Permission Allowed on every app's request but no write access is given to the phone's memory)
I applied "fix permissions", cleared Cache, once again to make sure..
I disabled/re-enabled ROOT in general and also for each application individually..
Nothing worked.

ES File Explorer & Terminal Emulator

( I don't know if it appeared on 2.7.6 v2 or if it existed on a previous version, as I haven't used it on the last two or three weeks(versions) )

I, too, have that problem, iliDaedalus. It's been present for the past few weeks.
It's manifest in the same way for me as you described. Root appears to have been allowed,
however, the app does not then have it. Repeated attempts to "su" from within Terminal Emulator, for example.
I think this started when the MIUI SuperUser app got the new, red, four step allow/deny prompt, but I'm not certain.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one...
I would spend some more hours today, after work attempting to make a new clean-install etc.

Anyway,
This morning I was coming to work and as every morning I use TuneIn Radio to listen to my favorite early radio show, then I realized that it is not possible!
I tried to use other applications that my firewall allows to make use of 3G. Most seemed that had hard time receiving any data but I think that the Traffic Usage counted incoming data..
Has anyone else this issue as well?
I will check further later, how it really performs and I think that I will go to the previous version as well, till the next release.

Also the Updater eventually gives notification of new version, and when I open it, it says that I have the latest

I just took some 8MP pics with the stock camera and it seems really grainy in view mode and in the actual photos. Haven't compared with Camera360 but it looked a little clearer through the view finder.

2.7.6 w/settings fix

Also, I'm noticing that many status bar notifications are persistent for some apps, even after clicking them.

Loving this ROM. Thanks for y'alls work. One minor aggravation, when a call comes in, it lists the correct name but half the time it shows a different contact photo than the one calling. Anyone else? No problems other than this small glitch.

Seems to be an issue with this version of MIUI.. I assume it will be fixed with the next update.

This has been reported. I'm looking into it but having some problems with where I'm living so I haven't had a chance to set up my laptop and debug.

Generic 3G network lag occurs when turning off 2G/3G in "Default settings of newly installed programs" of "Batch Networking Control" (but the rest of the Network Assistant is fine).

I'm really looking forward to see this running on my phone. Currently backing up my data... and trying not to be too damn excited

Nice Port! Works fine now but I had some problems at first, because I installed SetCPU (I did not know there was already an over-/underclock program installed). Some programs tool 10-20 seconds to get to the homescreen. now its fine.

The only thing I noticed is, that the on/off switches in the menus hardly work (missing frame and/or missing color indicator)

Right after upgrade to .20 UI force closes after boot and then randomly while using the phone
- no notification/status bar
- can't switch between opened apps with long press home button
- torch doesn't work too
