    Upgrading Firmware

    Hi
    Can anyone help me upgrade my firmware to 3.12 for running MIUI 2.2.2.
    Am a beginner.

    Done. Upgraded to 3.12. Battery performance has greatly improved.
    Firmware - 3.12, MIUI Ver - 2.2.3

    Great upgrade.

    confused

    I've been trying and trying to get this and I'm having no luck. I have a couple if questions. If my phone is rooted do I need supercid to change firmware I'm think I'm running gb but I want to run ics I tried the link to sdk but it didn't help. I know it can't be that hard but I just don't want to screw up my phone. I'm running miui 2.2.3 please help

    I used the emulator put in get prop to.as.romver it said 1.45.401.2 now what

    If I have a gb image on my SD card ahead of the ics image will it not update new image because I superwiped with arhd flashed trips v4 then rebooted and it never asked me to update I'm almost have it just not getting it so close yet so far away

    I don't know this but I know you need 3.24 to run ICS if that's what you are aiming towards. Some roms also run on 3.12 and allow you to revert to GB if desired.

    i have two questions first i flashed ics firmware and im running trips v4 rom if i want to flash to different ics rom do i need to do superwipe again or is it just like flashing a rom on gingerbread because every ics rom out i think is telling people how to flash ics firmware and everything else like rom and what not i want sense 3.6. and second if i want to flash a oc kernal how do i go about doing this do i have reflash rom and everything.

    Super wipe if flashing a different rom e.g. CM9 to miui.
    Some rom updates can be flashed over existing versions.
