I fixed the themes issue, using root explorer, I went to data/system long press on theme. Permissions and made sure all read write permissions were enabled. Now themes apply!

Re: Bugs Thread for Galaxy Nexus CDMA and GSM
Hello all- I have been having a bit of trouble with MIUI since switching to the Galaxy Nexus (a minor issue as it has been amazing for all previous devices) but I have constant force closes when trying to use "gallery" wallpaper and essentially any app that uses wallpaper. Any ideas if this method would make a difference ?
Yes I could just do it and find out myself but am just curious if I am the only one having these issues.
Cheers, LL13-

Re: Bugs Thread for Galaxy Nexus CDMA and GSM
It's the weirdest thing. I restored the phone back to stock and it works fine but as soon as I install MIUI it stops working. I can't figure it out. I recently upgraded my CWM. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I'm going to try and revert to an older version and see if that fixes it. Any suggestions anyone can offer to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Titanium backup not working
Titanium app crashes when asking for root rights. When I start the app again, without killing it, it is stuck on asking for root permissions. I have root enabled and ROM Manager works. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Bugs Thread for Galaxy Nexus CDMA and GSM
Always loved MIUI, ran it on an Xperia X10 like a charm.
Thought I'd add my input to the pile.
Running 2.8.24 on toroplus.
Overall I've been really satisfied with what is ostensibly an Alpha.
1. The really, really bad WLAN signal strength is well documented by now, but I'm having the same issue.
2. Twice (so not often) the lockscreen graphics have displayed at around double scale. This complicates unlocking the phone.
3. The recent applications softkey disappears from the screen when on the lock screen (intentional?) To be honest, it seems silly to have the softkeys on the lockscreen at all.
4. I can receive, not send MMS.
5. Obviously you know by now that internet radio does not work.
6. Pop-up notifications seem to mess with a couple of things. Firstly, it will completely interrupt streaming video playback. Also, it possibly seems to interfere with webpages containing form fields, preventing the dialog boxes from drop down menus from appearing. I typically have to restart the application to get them back, specifically on Chrome.
7. Streaming video (YouTube, specifically) has a hard time reacquiring the stream when interrupted. In fact, if you seek or get interrupted (like by a pop-up) more than once or twice, it will be unable to start the stream again and require the application be restarted.
8. I cannot use the default MIUI weather widgets. Adding them has the widget display "Click to install MIUI weather." Doing so creates a message stating "Application is not installed on your phone".
9. Not a bug per se, but considering the ROM's source, I was disappointed with the lack of a Chinese keyboard/dictionary option (unless I'm missing something).
10. This does not interface very well with femtocells, not that I could really expect it to.
11. Battery life seems mediocre, 16-18h at best. I'm considering using a CPU governor.
Also, more of a curiosity than anything else, is there something that intrinsically keeps the ROM from working with CDMA dialer codes?

Re: Bugs Thread for Galaxy Nexus CDMA and GSM
I have a serious issue with Google Calendar that I haven't seen anyone else have.
1. My MIUI has all the standard Google apps except for Google Calendar.
2. The list of things synced with my Google account does not include Calendar. Using a third party app, my calendar can not be found.
3. When I sync my Google account, it tells me that there has been a "sync error", even though everything appears to have synced fine (possibly unrelated).
4. I flashed the latest version of Gapps but Calendar doesn't appear and still isn't installed.
Please help.

Re: Bugs Thread for Galaxy Nexus CDMA and GSM
I know even though a lot of us where using the ics bootloader for a lot of the early roms from jelly bean and they all seemed to work decent, I did experience some erratic issues with roms that normally I have no issues with.
What I would first do is make sure you are on a jelly bean bootloader and make sure you have the latest radios installed. Rootzwiki has great information and step by step instructions on how to get these all flashed. depending on which Galaxy nexus you have. http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Category
evices just pick you correct device from the list there and follow the instructions they have there. Other than that make sure you are using a up to date recovery. I would suggest sticking with Clockworkmod recovery as it's been the mainstay for a long time now. just make sure you are on the newest version of it as well. because some older versions may cause issues with Jelly Bean roms. you shouldn't have any issues if you are on the above and did wipe data/cache and dalvik cache. Dalvik is one some forget about and can cause odd issues like you described.

Curiously, the only bugs I do have are the torch not activating from the home screen (even with recents hidden), and a slight delay that occurs between a call being received and the ringer activating (using system ringtone).
Great ROM overall. Thanks for making this happen.Last edited by jordanishere; 10-08-2012 at 04:56 PM.
