FWIW, I went the "full monty" with 260/8/168 on Blackrose. Maybe this has something to do with BOYNUMBERONE's troubs?

Also: Update on 2.12.7:
- Ringtone Settings has been fixed. Yay!
- It did not include Google Play Store; found an apk online (3.9.16) that worked AOK.
- Gfx not quite as smooth as propsia's 2.11.30, but close enough, or at least that's the perception.
- Used a2sd to move apps and appdata, but I kept dalvik-cache as-is. This keeps /data from exploding in size while keeping performance reasonable. Still seeing lots of IOW high % numbers tho.

Nice to see the N1 getting some MIUI JB love after a seemingly long drought.

fix permissions before installing

if it doesn't work then re-download the rom and then flash it again

what do u mean of "fix permissions" and how? tnx

when you choose "flash zip from sd card" from the recovery you can see two options
1>select zip from SD card
2>Toggle zip Verification

then before flashing the rom choose the 2nd option i.e... "toggle zip verification"
then there you can see a message "zip verification is off"
then flash the rom file by choosing the file from SD card

i recommend you to wait till i upload the new MIUI build with fixes it will be up in 2 hrs

you can repartition by running blackrose.exe again.

Just tried out 2.12.7 ENHANCED. Looks great.

Naturally, the first thing I did was install Maps and check to see if GPS was working. It was NOT. Time and time again, I tried to get a lock on my location. Finally, I gave up and put the phone into Airplane Mode. About 5 minutes later, GPS started reporting my proper location.

This is kinda what happened those couple nights ago when I couldn't get a lock on with GPS, but found out Glympse was working fine on my ride home later that night. What would cause GPS to be, effectively, "lazy" like this?

Also - M2SD! The install of m2sd ("Mount2SD") found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1342387 on this, propsia's 2.12.7 MIUI ROM for N1 with enhancements, went flawlessly. I'm so used to the sparsity of a2sd, so I'm surprised at how complete the instructions for m2sd are.

Honestly, JB is looking great on the N1 overall. For me, it's a tossup between this ROM and the CM10 VJ Jelly Bean 4.1.2 v2.6 release. I've done both in one day - twice! Regardless of which, it's clear I won't be needing BlackRose again anytime soon.

I'm trying to install this rom on my nexus one but when I try to install the zip file with clockworkmod i keep gettin an error about "symlink: some symlinks failed" and "(Status 7)
Installation aborted"

at this moment I don't have any rom installed

can anyone help me?

I love miui rom on my nexus one. But i face a problem with signal strength and mobile network data.
Signal strength is never more than 2 bars. Also, data network connects after 1-1.5hrs of switching on the phone. After every boot or turning off airplane mode, mobile data appears for a second then disappears. This goes on around 1 hr, after that data connects. Signal strength remains at 2 bars.
Wifi works fine.
There is no such issue in mobile network when i use any other rom like evervolv, PACman, paranoid android, spazedog. Please help me solve this, i really want to use miui on my phone.

If your device has already installed latest BlackRose, it will enter into BlackR
ose menu
Otherwise, BlackRose will be installed or updated automatically
