Agreed. Everything looks good so far except for the dialer. It is compressed and the resolution is not the greatest. The launcher/homescreen trash bin icon is off center as well but I believe they are already working on a fix for that. Great work guys!

was really hoping to see the GB styled settings (menu) layout. i'm not too fond of the ICS settings (menu) layout tbh. But other than that, good work. Hope to see more progress on this asap. I want this to be my DD
so what? I'm a moose that likes MIUI.... don't stare. '''>_>

After running this for a day I can report this runs pretty well so far. Its smoother than prior iterations of MIUI I have run on the nexus. I have only run into a few issues so far.

-previously mentioned dialer and launcher trash can
-hot reboots when listening to music with the stock player and using lockscreen controls. This consistently happens. Not sure if it is the lockscreen controls or the app itself causing problems. Anyone know if we are going to see a MIUI music player with this? It looks like a standard froyo style player now.
-In the notifications pulldown anything thicker than the standard email message or update notification results in half of the notification being cut off (ie weather bug notification, currently playing music notification)

Still running the packaged kernel. Not sure I'll bother flashing another anytime soon. Gonna let this one settle in first.

And once again, great work guys!

Any chance we can get a soft key mod with search, long press search and home and persistent menu key? That is the only thing that is keeping me from using this rom, and trust me I really want to use this rom as my dd

sorry about the softkey without perm menu. I actually fixed that but didnt push to build just to my phone to test. Then someone brought it to my attention and i removed the old build and updated it to include. So the build if you redownload should already have it included if not then copy this MiuiHome.apk into system/app then reboot. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17639430/MiuiHome.apk

Everything looks good so far, in addition to the dialer. It is compressed, the resolution is not the biggest. Launch the trash can icon / home screen and off-center, but I believe they have the repair work.

you have to click on the text "root permissions" and a pop up will appear to enable root. Sorry for the delayed response.
