Anyone else having trouble side-loading apks? I can't seem to install the amazon market...yes i did a full wipe and yes I have unknown sources checked. I run the apk and I can click install but then it sayd "application not installed". I got swype to install so I'm not sure what the deal is...

The native wifi tether issue is in the base build of linaro for toro, so that issue is not fixable by me in the porting process. The emoji issue I think I have a fix for, just need to verify because I never use emoji. Because of the tether issue (and other bigger issues with maguro) I am looking at doing dual releases for a while. It seems that the CM9 / AOKP teams have put linaro on hold to work out the bugs, so those builds aren't getting updated. For that reason, these same issues will be present in all linaro ports. To put out the best bug free port I can, I will do an "official" port that does not have linaro and then another one with linaro. Hopefully that won't confuse too many people.

Sounds like a plan to me. Hopefully the CM Team can get rid of those bugs soon. The potential this code has to MIUI is pretty amazing.

I'm getting system force closes on the Linero version every time I rotate my device to landscape. After it force closes, it locks up the phone for about 60 seconds followed by a soft reboot. There is also a force close immediately on start up for the phone app. Phone seems to work fine though.

no emoji (before miui.us had official I ran Vicious miui and his port had no emoji either?) Kinda sucks, but whatever.

fc's on miui gallery...this has been ongoing for my device (seems like it starts after I hide an album to try to remove the duplicate album bug?) I cleared data on the miui gallery app and cleared thumbnail cache. I was able to "explore sd card, add a select few folders to favorites, now i get no fc's when viewing favorites, but still fc when viewing all folders. It seems like the app has issues with alot of folders??

Edit- I managed to delete the "camera" folder and now all the fc's are gone.. Weird...

Settings/button/customize screen key position leads to fc. My guess is conflict with the toolbox. Thanks to Miui.us we don't need this option anyways

The new wallpaper options in the app for centered wallpaper are a welcome addition. No more wallpaper Wizardrii (as long as you can bypass the app fc's)

Also the autostart manager in permissions manager is a nice addition, and the new options in the toolbox are great.

Yeah, I am looking into it. You can replace fonts with one that has emoji characters if you want them that badly. I honestly never use emoji or see them anywhere, so I forget to even look into it. It is on the list, but below making this port run smooth and fast.

I think you did something when you tried to hide a folder because I have never gotten an FC on gallery, so not sure what happened. I hate the dual folders in the app and it is due to the way MIUI looks at media folder. They ultimately need to fix it, but I am trying to find a fix too.

Fixed with the newest Toolbox update, see Update that is posted in OP. Also builds have been updated, so if you download the build now, it will be fixed.

Anyone else find the non Linero version runs better? This is exactly the opposite result for me in comparison to non MIUI Roms...

That is odd. I get the exact opposite. I flashed the non-linaro (replacing my old linaro build) this week and after a day I could notice apps and ui didn't respond as quickly. I flashed the linaro build and the quickness seemed to return.

Is anyone having issues with some productivity tools? I'm having problems opening spreadsheets with Docstogo or OfficePro. It seems to hang near the end of opening the file.
