FAQ:
Q: Will you be continuing work on this in the future... and when can we expect MIUIv4 weekly?
A: Yes, I do plan on continuing work on MIUI v4 for the OG Inc. It has been an amazing device and the MIUI.us team has been even more amazing; and yes, you can expect ports weekly. Unfortunately, i'm a full time student working two jobs, and volunteer coaching. So some things may come before this. I'll do my best to get them out in a timely fashion though.

Q: Why doesn't (insert issue) work???????
A: Well it could be 1) my fault as I haven't gotten it working yet 2) an issue introduced by a particular weekly build of MIUI 3) it doesnt work in INC aosp ics yet.

Q: How can I help out?
A: Short of taking over the port for me, testing and bug reporting is the biggest help you can give. I may not always reply to the posts, but I do in fact read them. I put a lot of effort and time into these builds and hope to make them the best that I can. ... however anyone interested in contributing or working with me on it and has experience with making roms and smali/xml editing, let me know via pm or twitter (@itsmarkhoj)

Bug Reporting Guidelines:
Consider the following "Big Five" Statements:

When posting a bug-report, format is as follows:

1. One Sentence describing the bug
2. Affirm that the "big Five" statements are true.
3. Instructions for reproducing the bug
4. a logcat output for the FATAL EXCEPTION (if the bug is an app crash or reboot), or "df" output (if the bug relates to low free storage space). to get the output, run "adb logcat > pathtotextfile" or "adb shell df > pathtotextfile" as appropirate.
5. Any other useful information.

Bug reports which do not follow the above procedure do not help me or development on the incredible

My Recommended Install Prodedure

1. Backup Original rom
2. wipe data/ factory reset
3. go to mounts and storage
4. wipe /boot
5. wipe /system
6. install
7. fix permissions in /advanced
8. reboot

Boots may take a little longer, it's got an auto zipalign tool included

Doing this, i've taken care of a few issues mentioned to me.

flashed it no problem. slow on the boot, but that's to be expected.

kinda slowish. lots of apps are hanging for a while (gallery, backup, settings, etc.)
some animations are getting all screwy, tiling around the screen and forcing me to force close. gallery isn't showing any pictures. or it is and I'm just not waiting long enough for them to load. since it's 1:30 I'm probably just gonna flash back the the previous version. I'll do some more testing later in the week.

Good start for this ROM. I saw the same video issues mentioned above. Titanium Backhp said the su binary was there but it could not get root access. There are no calendars available to sync. Contacts and Gmail synced fine.

Runs pretty well for an alpha Mark. In addition to what is mentioned above I am run into a couple of other things. scott mentioned Titanium can't gain root access - ROM Manager and a couple of other apps are not able to also. I tried downloading superuser from the market and manually allow root permission but same result. I wasn't able to change the lockscreen wallpaper but regular wallpaper changed fine.

To fix superuser you have to flash SU and the SU-App data in CWR.

They fixed a lot of things. Actually i'm currently using their ICS-stock ROM, which has everything working but voice chat for google talk and a few random glitches here or there. Even have video camera working.

I noticed the other MIUI v4 was based loosely around ics-deck, so i thought i'd ask.

And yeah, welcome on the SU thing. Not sure if it's an issue with the built in permission manager or an issue with the data that goes along with giving busybox commands.

(Still gonna install this now tho.. >->)

EDIT: Glad to see you got MMS working as well (Wasn't working on other MIUIv4)

i actually used evervolv p7 as the base of the port

so a lot of credit goes to them too. I'm trying to get in contact with mongoosehelix, their inc dev. I think he might be able to help me with USB support. I tried the old "fix" from the early ics builds, but it didnt help me.

List of bugs i've found so far in the first minute, phone fc's when dialing *228, clock is 5 hrs off although lockscreen clock tells the right time. Will post anymore when I find them.

im working on usb and calendar sync for sure tonight. the rom still has built in task killer, and it had a UI overhaul. i like it a lot. the longpress home, and "broom" on bottom left. to kill all, or you can select which one.

2.3.7? what is supposed to say? What you mean by scrolling widgets and task widgets? I am back on miui 12.2(cant get 12.9 lost the download) cm7 was good but this is way easier to use and i know where to go on it when i want to.
