I have been told Mark is still dev for Incredible. Hopefully this is true. Mark can get busy at times, the fact he hasn't posted tells me he is very busy.

Communication is always nice but he does do this in whatever free time he has not a job.

I get it. Dont' get me wrong as his work is greatly appreciated. And again, this is not a job nor does it pay the bills. Priorities are understandable and most of us understand that. But would it be so hard to say "I'm alive, just a little busy right now. It'll be a few weeks before the next release". It only takes a few seconds to post and avoids everyone else wondering if Mark jumped ship. All I am suggesting is to take the guesswork out of the equation. I'm not bashing or complaining, simply making a suggestion that I think would be helpful to the masses that use this ROM.

Well, I'm still getting random app closures, as well as some other issues (SD card doesn't mount when plugged into USB, even though it's set to automatic).

I'll be moving to CM9 (or back to stock MIUI) for now. I'll be keeping an eye out here for updates though!

Hi all working with miui v4 for some time now and love it, some thing i have been having bugs with
Video recorder will not work
-I can not open it from the app or from Camera app
-some videos will not play that were on my phone from miui 2.3
i can not edit some contacts
-i can delete the contacts and remake it but would like to edit them from my contacts list
phone battery life is no were what it use to be
The OS needs to be simpler but editing multiple themes together fix that for me
Over all a 7 out of 10 in my book even if it is a "alpha V"

Video is pretty spotty with this build. I cannot watch Netflix or use the camcorder app, yet my digital movies play just fine. I also don't think I can view sms video attachments either. I've clean-wiped 3 times now, and have tried both the stock kernel and the incredikernel that is linked on the OP.

I do hope they get video working properly again. Else it's back to MIUI GB.

same here...I've been trying other ICS builds and checking to see if the video camera works and going back to miui GB 2.3.2. I think I'd rather have GB miui that ICS anything else.

I'm on 2.3.2. I believe that is the last one ported to the inc.

I wouldn't put nails in the coffin for Dinc development just yet. I've been using miui for over a year and have seen devs come and go, but sure enough someone is always there to pick the project back up.

I wouldn't say it's any more stable than the version previous to the 6-1-12 release. There are still video issues, random splash screen boot-loops, no SD without a widget, etc.

As of the other day, he was going to return to it. Real life stuff got in the way. He also has a Galaxy Nexus now, so his continual development is going to be very selfless since it won't be for his own phone.

I wouldn't pester him too much on twitter. He is really nice but I'd hate to drive him crazy

does anyone have way to get their video recorder to work yet? So far this build has been flawless from Mark Hoj with the exception of the vid recorder, just wasn't sure if someone out there has over come it since he is super busy with work and school at the moment (hats off to that). He has told me that he is not giving up on the inc just yet cuz he is in the market for the new INC 4G which is pretty awesome btw, my daughter has it and now all we need is the 4g network lol.

Guys, i need some help. I'm using HTC Incredible and HTC Evo 4G outside the US (other CDMA operators). And from time to time my internet username and password reset to *my_number*@verizon... on Incredible and to sprint on Evo. Only AN username/password. Calls working fine. That happens sometime once a day, sometimes once a month. No apps installed (happened even on clean MIUI). Tried MIUI based on 2.2, 2.3, 4.0 android. What can that be? MIUI changing login\password by itself?

While we all patiently wait for a better ICS build, you guys might want to check out the new JELLY BEAN build that xda put out for our phone. NOTE: This is not an MIUI rom! This is a plain-jane Google Jelly Bean build.

The Jelly Bean rom just had an update late last night.

There is no update information available for MIUI on Incredible. Most likely this is the best we're going to get for ICS on our current hardware.
