MIUI Text Messaging: Favorites?

I see a 'Favorites' tab in the Messaging app, but there's no discernable way to put a person on that list. What am I missing?

It's not for favorite people...it's for favorite phrases/responses. Check out:

In the OP there is the way to add a phrase to it.

Thanks, Hotwired34. I enjoyed MIUI, it's a fantastic, imaginative build. However, I eventually uninstalled it due to some issues and design differences that were too hard for me. I was prepared to document all my notes on it, but the developer said that no changes would be forthcoming due to the focus on the ICS version. I asked if there was interest in my detailed comments for the ICS, but got no response.
