Awesome, I'm glad I checked the forum as I had same issue and had to revert back... This worked perfectly.

After a number of full wipes and careful reinstallations, I narrowed down the FCs to the same culprit that Havron did: the first missed call on miui 2.13 kills the dialer application.
The error report talks about java.util.MissingFormatArgumentException: ContactsUtils and DialerListAdapter....
Is there anyone out there who can point to a true fix? I called the missed caller back from the contact list, but the dialer continues to FC on android.process.acore.
Anyone know where I can download older miui versions?
Thanks.

Dialer 2.1.13 update: backing off to 1.12.9
Backed off to 1.12.9, which can be found here with all other miui versions http://goo-inside.me/miui (thanks to wizard0f0s from another thread here).
All good after three hours, several missed calls and a handful of apps restored from Titanium.

What I did to fix it was use a history cleaner to wipe my Call log but its a temporary fix; each time you get a call you have to clear it

Dialer force closing. after missed call.
This has been plaguing me for days. I have installed and re-installed MIUI 2.1.13, cleared davlic, wiped all data, re-installed again... All with the same result force close because of acore. After each installation everything works fine for awhile. Finally today I figured out what is causing it to crash. A missed call. After reading this post I found that clearing the Contacts Storage indeed fixes this issue until you have another missed call. This is kinda serious though because once you clear that data there is no history of who's call you missed. Unless they leave a voice mail. Does anyone have any information about a permanent fix for this issue? If this continues I am probably going to have to use another ROM which sucks because I love this one...

I found another solution which works as well. Download another dialer app like Dialer One and set it as your default dialer. The problem is no longer an issue. If you prefer the MIUI dialer then there isn't really another way that I've found aside from clearing the data.

exDialer from the market is a miui dialer clone....(or maybe miui cloned or reused his app like they cloned / reused the browser from miren).
Either way works perfect.

I tried exdialer which worked fine for a couple of days then that crapped out too. Other things randomly FC on this build also and maybe I am the only one because no one else has mentioned it but sometimes in web based apps like Facebook and MIUI browser I would get text errors. Like all text was complete gibberish. Didn't do it every time and I was never ale to figure out a way to replicate the problem. So I rolled back to 1.12.9 like other people had done. Works perfect. Can't really find any differences either. Maybe a slight performance lag from 2.1.13 but other than that no complaints.

This is what I did and so far it is working. I tried dialer one 1st and 1st missed call gave me FC. I installed Go contacts with Go dialer from the market. I then used Titanium to uninstall (backup 1st) the contacts and dialer 2.3.7 system app. So far so good! I can miss calls with no FC following. I tried the same with dialer one, but it wouldn't work with the system app being removed. I will update if things go wrong.
UPDATE:Ok I found with the system app uninstalled I could not enter new contacts. So I reinstalled the system app "contacts and dialer 2.3.7". Now I can enter contacts. If I miss a call and open that dialer, FC. But if I set Go dialer to default everything works even while leaving the FCing system app on there. At least so far....Last edited by ziggymanILT; 02-01-2012 at 11:31 AM. Reason: Update

Go Contacts and Go dialer fixed everything with the dialer FC. They are default now and the original are hidden away in a misc. folder.
Am I the only one still running this version??????????

Full remove means go into Restoration and remove shed cache, Dalvik shed cache, and remove all person data. From Supports and shed I also structure system and start. Some ROM installs do this for you but not all, so it doesn't harm to do it.
