Amazon Prime

So, as it's well known, Amazon Prime stops working after root is performed. Have you guys found a solid workaround? I've read of OTA Rootkeeper, which has yet to work for me on MIUI. I've also read on the Pre-rooted stock they have, which is known to work; I haven't tested it, I'd like to stay on Miui if possible. But I reallllllllly want Amazon prime to work.


Anybody here have methods that work? Maybe I'm doing OTA Rootkeeper wrong, I've fiddling with it now.

make sure to force-close the Amazon video app after you temp-disable root. The app looks for the presence of the su binary on startup, so just temp-disabling it alone doesn't fix it.

tried deersteaks method with ota and it was a no go. any other tips?

I still haven't found a working method. Maybe it's just the ROM itself.

Ya, my bad. After the fact I found that what I posted was originally intended for stock ROM, and really only works on stock. Sorry about that.

If I could get Amazon prime video to work this rom would DEFINATELY be a keeper.... but sadly I cant find a way to get video to play from amazon. anyone have any progress on this front? thats the ONLY thing thats a deal breaker for me on this. its sooooo cool to break the device from from the shackles Amazon places on it.
