My touch 4g battery life

My phone battery drians in less than 8 hrs with light web browsing and texting. I can't get a day of usage on my phone. If anyone can help me with this problem I'd really appreciate it.

What ROM, what version, 4g enabled, wifi? Check your battery usage under settings>system settings> battery

Miui 1.12.9 and I have 4g and location off and use wifi at times needed.. my battery usage is...cell stanbye 49% and phone ideal 35% those are the main. I have done a lot of reading and I even have setcpu.

* I have recently upgrade to 1.12.16 and did a battery calibration with the app from the market and gonna see how it goes.

Wondering how it's been for you? What kind of results are you seeing?

It's better I can now go all day on a single charge and still at 30% and 10pm..depends on how much I use it but now I can go a full day thanks
