Issues with 32gb microSD cards on Galaxy S phones

I actually have a CDMA Variant of the Galaxy S (Fascinate), and I'm curious to know whether any of you guys who own the AT&T version of the Galaxy S (Captivate) are able to get 32gb microSD cards to work on your phone. If so what brand microSD card and what class? I can't get my 32gb class 4 Sandisk to work, however I can get my 8gb class 2 Sandisk to work perfectly.

I believe this is actually an issue with all variants of the original galaxy s line of devices when running an MTD based rom. I do not know of anyone who has a successful, long term fix either. Some get them to work but always end up having trouble.

I know this is not all that helpful (or positive for that matter) but unfortunatly, they just don't play nice with our phone <---I also have a Fascinate. For what it's worth, my wifes Droid Charge does not like them either.

No, this is very helpful actually. It just confirms that all Galaxy S devices have this issue, and I don't know if there will ever be a fix to allow microSD cards in Galaxy S phones of all sorts to work. No other phone is having this problem except Galaxy S/Touchwiz based phones. Would be nice to see a fix, if there was a site dealing with MTD moderators that would be great. I don't know if there's anyone even out there that would trade (like a Droid X for a Fascinate) though I wouldn't want to trade I would rather have the issue resolved.

I'm using a sandisk 32 gB micro SD card class 4 and it works great. I have flashed over a handful of Roms but the only ones that don't recognize them are cm7/miui roms.
