Camera FC

Ever since I upgraded to 1.12.16 my camera is force closing and my battery has been draining quickly! Anyone else experiencing these issues as well!?

It's the MIUI camera that's force closing. Try the other one.

Then maybe you should do a full wipe (cache, dalvik and data) then reflash the rom if you haven't already.

do you know how to set the otherone as the default camera? because everytime i press the camera button (on the side of the phone) the miui camera pops up with the fc... i want to set that button to open the other camera...

it still FC on me... the camera works it just doesn't let me switch to the front one...
is there anyway that i can remap the key so it opens the other camera?

Are you sure it's the MIUI camera you're talking about? Forgive me but I didn't know MIUI cameras had the front facing camera capability. The Android camera does though.

after the miui camera FC on me... the option for front face camera even on the other camera disappears... thats why i want to remove it completly...

I'm still not sure why the camera is force closing but the MIUI camera is com.miui.camera.apk and the Android camera is com.android.camera.apk. These are both in /system/app. You can use Root Explorer, Root Browser, ES File Explorer, etc. to remove whichever camera you think is giving you issues.

I am new on Miui.us and the miui rom... but I am starting to really like the forum
