Download "Locale Select" (or any other app with similar functionality) from the market and set the locale to "English". This will both change the first working day from Sunday to Monday, and will correct phone number split in the dialer.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you grigoryan.
I had installed Quit Locale Select and I changed the locale to "English".
Now in the calendar I have the first of the week Monday, but in the month view appears has chinesee words under the number of day...
Without changing the locale value the first day is Sunday, but the Chinesee words doesn't appears...
    More options...??

    Thank you

This method does not fix text messaging application. It always displays date in format MM/DD/YYYY instead of DD/MM/YYYY.
