So I downloaded a couple of these, LG clock and weather and LG Calender. They downloaded as apks and said they installed but nothing there? Should I rename them zips and flash them? Nevermind just read to move them to system/apps, sorry...

When you say fix permissions how exactly do you go about doing this? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new to this ROM and have never had to do this before and want to have an idea of what I am doing before I do it.

You want themed gmail apk's? and ive got a few games ill post in a few minutes....they pulled the n64 app and rom gripper from the market....it may get pulled here....ill go post some games and gmail apk's in a minute....be watching

Longpress the file after you move it to the system\app folder and you will see a ''permissions'' option. make it the same as the rest of the files in that directory.....I use Root Explorer.....you can also set permissions in recovery.
