Update MIUI rom through Phone and CWM issue

I have always had an issue when downloading a new update from my phone and trying to install MIUI all completely through my phone with no computer involved. when i was done downloading an Updated Rom of MIUI, i would go into ClockWorkMod Recovery to install it. but EVERY time it would bring up an error saying that "make sure you have a certain version of CWM V4.4.0.0 or higher" and i have V5.0.2.0 .. well i have found the most simplistic way to get around it (you probably already know this but for people who dont, i am here to share this knowledge) just scroll to and select "Choose Zip From SDcard" , then select "Choose Zip from SDcard", the scroll to and select "downloaded_rom/" and the recently downloaded update of MIUI should be there and then just select it and say "Yes" to install. and then reboost as usual once its done updating/installing. hope this helps.

In CWM if you scroll to the bottom to all ClockworkMod Recoveries I believe MIUI need version 3.0.2.4 and everything works for me fine on updates.

I was using clockworkmod 5, downloaded the OTA version of the newest ROM and tapped on update as soon as the download was done. My phone restarted and went into recovery mode, where I wiped dalvik and cache partition, and installed from the ROM Downloads folder...

Worked great, no problems.

I never update using the Miui downloader. It works perfectly fine using ROM Manager and let's me know right away when there's a new version available. always installs the first time no problems.
