*update* i no longer hate mw3! i mean, blops is still better, but 3 is far better than mw2 (so ive heard).....anyhow...he said bf3, POINT N LAUGH!

now i know us gamers are a few n proud members here, so i don't expect to many responses, but has anyone played the new cod: mw3? if so, then you'll feel me here, that is unless, ur a mw fanboy, then you'll most likely disagree, n probably post something about how i must "suck" or something along those lines. but this is such a terrible game! along with the rest of the world, i was so excited for its release, preordered it 3 weeks in advance (right after the hardened edition "sold out" which, at the time i was sorta pissed about...) n almost went n waited 6+ hours to be able to get it at midnight, but decided i could wait till the next morning to play it. that, n needed one last night to say my goodbyes to black ops! but shortly after popping the disc in, i was already lost...couldn't, for the life of me, get a grasp on the killstreak thing....or "strike package" i guess is what they're called now. but finally understood that they can be set differently with each elloadout.
k well....if uv played it, u either love it, or hate it! i absolutely hate it! its like hardcore mode the whole time, the killstreaks disrupt the entire map, spawns r even worse than gettin spawn rapped on blops, look sensitivity is was to fast, even on 0, aim assist is....well non existent (spray an entire mag at an enemy w/o 1 singe round landing? then get killed in 1-2 hits? come on man!), .50cal sniper rifle should be the most op weapon ever! instead, i have an enemy run in front of me as i fire, hits him in the back at close range, he doesn't die, but rather turns around, hits me with 1 non head shot with a pistol (the p99 i think) and i die? wow! just......wow!
now granted, ill admit, yeah im a 3arc fanboy, not just cuz of zombies either, like most fans. i loved w@w, and am still in love with blops! and look forward to 2012 for cod: iron wolf....which might take on a more modern setting compared to 3arc's previous titles, in the late 80's/early 90's...but that's just based off the name n its hopeful relation to the armed forces group of the same name!

yeah...so mw3 is growing on me more each day...still not the best cod imo, but its def 2nd....untill the next lol im really diggin the qs/sniping factor of it though....that was the aspect missing from blops...than n the weapon patches

BF3 is a better game engine wise.
BF3 is much more open gameplay wise. Where was MW3 is run-in-small-corridors-or-snipe-people-from-3-feet-lol-look-how-good-sniper-i-am fragfest. (Which is ok once and a while. Not. All. The. Time.) Many classes open up what you can do with your time. (I was a medic who was 1-4, but revived like 30 people and healed everyone. MVP vs the guy with 40 kills)
BF3 has a superior community, although smaller, but looks to be for the most part a lot smarter.

MW3 is based on an engine from the days before MW1.
MW3 has pretty linear multiplayer play, with only one course of action: Kill or be killed. Which is exactly the kind of games that parents and laywers like Jack Thompson were against. Thanks for giving all your money to the one game that proves ALL the stereotypes about gamers, assholes.
MW3 has an infantile community, although extremely large, but is in many cases full of retarded highly-opinionated fanboys who can hardly write a proper sentence, let alone even TELL you what ERA* stands for.

....ok, so let me ask u a few things: have u ever shot an actual weapon, or det any sort of real explosives? ever wore 70+ lbs of gear in 130° weather for days on end with no down time? ever felt the blast effect of an ied? even had the wind knocked out of u n bruised ribs from a 7.62 round to ur front plate? do u have a bronze star?

Can't stand mw3, was always a cod4 and also a mw2 fan to a degree. I played and got into bf3 but unless you are playing with the group of friends you won't enjoy it much.
