[MOD][MIUI][ANY VERSION] GNex SoftKey/SmallNav Mods. Now With *MORE* Colors!

Please READ:
Due to the recent release of the MIUI.us toolbox that is included in MIUI.us roms, the Center Clock Mods that I have are no longer needed. I have placed them in the "GraveYard" Section for anyone running a different version/release etc.

If, for some reason these mods stop working, they WILL NOT BE UPDATED. My answer to you will be to flash the latest MIUI.us release. Until that time, please feel free to continue to use them.

As for the rest of the version 1-5 mods, these have been updated to play nicely with the MIUI.us toolbox. Please redownload them in order to use the Toolbox, or you will have issues (Seriously guys, do it).

Since I did the colored keys, i thought I'd do some white backgrounds for the keys... just choose the appropriate layout that you want. Also, you will want a color for your keys because white on white wouldn't be too awesome.

#2 is my favorite so far. I hope everyone enjoys these.

I am glad somebody did this. I wanted to work on it, but have been beyond swamped.

Loving it man. Great work. This is one of the reasons I switched to the galaxy nexus, was because we have such great support from our modders like yourself. Keep it up and hope to see more. And if you need help, I would be glad to help you out. Just pm me the things your working with.

Thanks! I've tried to make more, but haven't been successful. I tried hiding the menu button (so it only appears when needed) but it just appears anyway. I also tried adding a search button but it wouldn't work, caused crashes and made the buttons disappear altogether.

If you'd like to play around with it, I'm just using apktool to decompile MiuiSystemUI.apk (you may have to delete classes.dex from the apk first for it to work), modifying res/layouts/navigation_bar.xml, recompiling and moving the compiled navigation_bar.xml back into an unmodified MiuiSystemUI.apk. Then I just push that apk back into system/app on the phone.

If you need more instructions on apktool, there's a couple guides on the net.

Alrite, that sounds good. Ill look it up tonight and see what I could do.

Anyway we could get the center clock mod only? I would like to have the center clock to go with the no softkey mod, or could you point me in the direction of how this is done?

You can do it using apktool from the SDK. Currently there is not a center clock only mod.

Thank you, now i can avoid the awkward gesture when using the phone with single hand.. (left thumb reaching for back button).

I updated the OP to include a standalone Center Clock Mod, and I also updated all Center Clock Mods to no longer have issues such as the status bar disappearing after boot, black background on ticker notifications, or overlap with notifications. Everything is perfect now.

Updated Clock Mods again.. fixed a bug I didn't notice that would occur once the clock reached 4 digits. Please re-download if you installed.
